I was really excited about seeing these since my husband has gotten into frying things, and he loves deviled eggs. I always hated having to go towards those scorching liquids since the steam almost burns you so badly. It has been a little nifty thing in the kitchen as far as that goes. On the other hand, it has been a big safety tool in things like barbecuing and deep frying turkeys. It's nice to have around when the cooker is a rookie or your handling extremely hot stuff. It fits well no matter what hand size you have. The rubber seems to grip well across the whole palm.
